Lisa Zandel is an experienced trainer, facilitator, and certified mediator. She has over 20+ years of diverse criminal justice experience in the Northern Virginia area and has been a tireless mentor. Her certifications are in Restorative Justice, General District and Juvenile & Domestic Relations disputes. Ms. Zandel handles cases in which the parties do not want to incur expensive litigation costs. Before starting the company, she was a Virginia Supreme Court Appointed Magistrate. Ms. Zandel is also recognized by the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy as a general instructor and Field trainer to provide continuing legal education.
Cynthia O'Conner has mediated over 600 private and court cases during the past 25 years. Ms. O'Conner holds a Juris Doctorate Degree of Law, Maryland and District of Columbia law licenses. She is member of District of Columbia, State of Maryland Bar Associations, Virginia Bar Association and the United States Supreme Court. Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution sections and committee memberships of bar associations and the American Bar Association. Current Virginia Supreme Court Mediation Certification and Mentor Certification for General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and Circuit Family Court. She is a full-time mediator and has been a Continued Mediation Education and Mediation Certification Instructor.
She and her Virginia Dispute Solutions, LLC business partner hold the contract with the Virginia Supreme Court to provide mediator coordination and mediation services for 4 Virginia Courts: the Alexandria General District Court, Alexandria Small Claims Court and the Alexandria Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court; and the Arlington Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, 2016 to the present.
